3rd Quarter Highlights!

  1. Mountain Slayers-Kenya Team Bonding- This happened in May and boy did we have fun! We ziplined, paintballed and had a BBQ. We got to spend good quality time with each other and relax without the pressure of a summit. Indeed Mountain Slayers is a community. SOS also joined us for the outing and shared more about who they are and the important work that they are doing. We look forward to engaging with them in November, in line with our CSR mission for 2017. To find out more about how the events unfolded, read more hereIMG-20170520-WA0029
  2. Mountain of God- This was a humbling hike. A group made up of the most seasoned slayers took on Oldoinyo Lengai in June and made history. Each mountain is unique and needs to be approached with the caution and respect that it deserves. We learnt that and accepted that our numerous summits do not make us immune to the challenges- physical, emotional and spiritual- that each mountain presents. Read about our journey here

  4. Merchandise- We finally have branded merchandise that are available at a small price. The items include; heavy fleece blanket, hoodies, t-shirts, water bottles, safari hat, rain jacket and marvins. If interested, inquire more about this here.
  5. Powers of Referral- We continue to grow through the power of your referrals so continue to tell your friends about us. Invite them for a hike and earn yourself a one off 10% discount! Tell a friend to tell a friend about the Mountain Slayers.
  6. BIG Mountains- In October we will have TWO BIG mountain treks; to Mt. Kenya 6th-10th October and to Mt. Kilimanjaro 19th-27th October. If you are yet to strike these two off your bucket list and would like to do so this year, send an email to info@mountainslayers.com to get more details on how you can join up on these exciting expeditions.img-20161109-wa0217
  7. End year hike- This year we will close the year with a hike to the amazing Shimba Hills in Kwale district. As part of our social responsibility, we will spend the day and hike with the SOS Nyali Children. This is one hike you do not want to miss!
